As a professor on the Master’s and Bachelor’s Fashion Design programme at the Geneva School of Art and design, Bertrand Maréchal suports students to build up their creative vocabulary, while at the same time encouraging them to permanently question their practices.

This training is enriched by working with specially invited designers such as Faustine Steinmetz, Bless, and Tony Delcampe from La Cambre School of Visual Arts in Brussels, as well as with Christian Lacroix and Olivier Saillard in addition to many other industry representatives like Melissa and Shiseido.

The academic programme is completed by a critical examination of image and communication and the design of portfolios giving access to creative positions in recognised contemporary fashion houses, but also with emerging designers in London, New York, Copenhagen and Paris: Louis VuittonMen, Givenchy Men, Anne Demeulemeester Men, Dior, Balenciaga, Balmain, Faustine Steinmetz, Phillip Lim and Acne Studio.

Between 2008 and 2015, Bertrand Maréchal was the designer and artistic director of the annual fashion show which regularly hosts two thousand guests and offers an exceptional platform from which to communicate and promote the Master and Bachelor collections created by the students.
